Prospera builds initiatives in youth access, conservation, and technology across the region. We find what's missing and we build it.

Youth Access

YouthAtlas

YouthAtlas finds scholarships, fellowships, and internships from across the web and matches them to young people based on who they are and where they live. It runs on AI, it's free, and it updates every day. We're building the career platform that 1.8 billion young people don't have yet.

Conservation

Expedicion Jaguar

Expedicion Jaguar works with rural landowners in Colombia to make conservation pay. We structure agreements where protecting forest generates more income than clearing it. If stewardship is profitable, people will steward.

Operations

Selvitas

Selvitas is the engine behind Prospera's initiatives. It handles the operational, financial, and legal work so each project can focus on what it does best. When we launch something new, Selvitas is how it gets built, funded, and run.

Latin America doesn't lack talent or ambition. It lacks the systems that connect them to opportunity. Prospera exists to build those systems.

We're not a traditional grantmaker. When we see a gap, we don't fund a study. We build the thing that fills it. That's how YouthAtlas, Expedicion Jaguar, and Selvitas came to be, and it's how the next initiative will start too.

The foundation was established by Federico Perez. Federico holds dual degrees from Yale's Jackson School of Global Affairs and School of the Environment, where his research focused on development policy in Latin America. He started Prospera to put that work into practice.
